From Head to Toe Writing Response

There are two levels of writing response sheets. The first level is for a younger pre-writing child- the child draws a picture and describes or labels the picture. The second writing response sheet is for a child who is writing sentences – the child draws a picture and writes 1-3 sentences to describe it.

From Head to Toe Vocabulary Wriggle

These vocabulary activities are centered around the world wriggle from the crocodile page in the book.

Wriggle vs. Wiggle- Wriggle and wiggle are similar words but there are small differences. When you wriggle, you twist, turn, or bend as you move. When you wiggle, you make more of a back-and-forth motion.

Play Synonym or Not? Use the cards provided to talk about each word and discuss if it is a synonym (the same) or not to wriggle. Sort the cards into two groups (Synonyms or Not Synonyms).
